What does membership mean at Bridges?
It is impossible to be a solo Christian.
When individuals come to faith in Jesus, Acts 2:47 describes it as “the Lord adding to the church.” We are never saved in isolation, but rather God always saves a people. The Bible refers to Christians as members of Jesus’ body. He identifies so intimately with us. He is infinitely committed to us. Church membership is a reflection of Christ’s commitment to his body.

How do you become a member?
- Attend a weekend ‘membership seminar’ held twice a year. Hear more about Bridges and what we believe, ask questions, and explore what it means to be a member of our church.
- Meet with an elder so we can get to know you personally and hear your story of God’s work in your life.
- In one of our worship services, the new members affirm their faith in Jesus and are welcomed to the church family.
